The Equipment tab on PirateSwap is where your Trade Locked skins are stored until they become tradable. If you trade for an item that has an active Trade Lock, it won’t go directly to your Steam inventory—instead, it will wait in your PirateSwap Equipment until the lock expires.

Once the Trade Lock is lifted, you’ll be able to withdraw the item to your Steam inventory with a single click. This allows you to secure skins in advance, even if they aren’t immediately tradable.

You can access the Equipment tab from the Trade screen anytime to check the status of your locked items and see how many days remain before they can be claimed.

What is the "Equipment" tab on PirateSwap?

A Trade Lock is a restriction placed by Steam on certain CS2 skins, preventing them from being traded for a set period of time. This usually happens when a skin has been recently acquired through a trade or purchase, or has been dropped from a case.

On PirateSwap, you can still trade for Trade Locked items—they’ll be stored safely in your PirateSwap Equipment until the lock expires. Once the restriction is lifted, you’ll be able to withdraw them to your Steam inventory.

Trade Locked items in the Trade tab are easy to spot. They have a small padlock icon on their tile, along with the number of days remaining until they become tradable (e.g., 8D = 8 days). This helps you plan your trades and know exactly when you’ll be able to claim your new skins!

What is a Trade Lock?

Want to inspect a skin before trading? Just click and check the details! To view more details about a skin on PirateSwap, simply hover over its tile and click the small square icon at the bottom. This will open a detailed overview, showing important information such as the item’s float, rarity, and other key stats.

If a skin has an active Trade Lock, you’ll see a small padlock icon along with the number of days remaining until the lock expires (e.g., 8D = 8 days). This helps you keep track of when the item will be available to withdraw.
