If you're going for a Short take, a fast push with well-timed flashes can overwhelm the CTs. Be sure to molly Goose to flush out any defenders, and consider smoking off CT-Spawn to prevent AWPers from picking you off.
A split push, with some players going Long and others through Short, is one of the most effective ways to take A-Site. This approach divides the attention of the CTs, making it harder for them to defend against the onslaught.
B-Site

B-Site is often considered one of the harder sites to retake, so your goal as a CT is to hold it at all costs. The key to defending B is controlling B-Tunnels. You can do this with early aggression, flashing and pushing into Tunnels, or by playing more passively and holding from the site.
Critical positions on B-Site include the Back Plat, Car, and Window. Back Plat allows you to hold the site from a distance, while Car provides a close-range option. The Window position is excellent for covering both the B-Tunnels entrance and the site itself.
Most of your trust, however, will have to be put into the Mid defence. If they lose their position, you’re likely pretty screwed.
If you lose control of B-Tunnels, consider rotating an additional player from Mid to bolster your defenses. Just remember, a B retake is difficult, so if the Ts get the bomb down, you'll need to coordinate with your teammates for a successful retake.
T Side
Taking B-Site as a T is all about speed and precision. The most common approach is a fast B-Rush, where you overwhelm the defenders with sheer numbers. Start by flashing over B-Tunnels to blind any defenders, then push in as a group, using your utility to clear out the common positions like Car and Back Plat.
If a rush isn’t your style, you can opt for a slower approach, taking control of Mid first and then splitting onto B. Smoke off CT-Spawn and Mid to B, then send some players through Tunnels while others push from Mid. This split forces the CTs to divide their attention, making it easier to take the site.
A more advanced tactic is the fake B-push. Show presence in B-Tunnels, throw some smokes and flashes, then quickly rotate to A through Mid or Short. This strategy can catch the CTs off-guard, especially if they're prone to over-rotating.
Mid
CT Side
Controlling Mid is crucial for the CTs, as it allows you to quickly rotate between A and B. The key positions to hold are Mid Doors and the Window. With an AWP, you can dominate Mid Doors, preventing the Ts from gaining control of this vital area. If you're playing with a rifle, consider holding from the Window or playing a more passive role near CT-Spawn.
A common strategy is to start the round by smoking Mid Doors to deny the Ts early vision. This forces them to either push through the smoke or take a slower approach. Additionally, throwing a Molotov into Lower Tunnels can delay the Ts and disrupt their timing.
T Side
